So this post is in no way related to the physical aspect of my exchange. It does however make reference to the music that I find keeps me loving life to the fullest. So on those blustery windy days, the days where snow is still freshly fluttering from the clouds, or the days where the sun peaks through the sky, exposing the vast palette of colours that is a spring in Germany, this music is my lover. (Except I don’t do physical things with it).
I just love plugging in my iPod and blocking out the world as I wander my way to and fro in the bustling city where I live. So here below is a list and with some, a link, to music which I have found lovely on this exchange period. It’s all very folk and acoustic, with many of the sounds being instantly recognisable as from my lovely home down under. Nonetheless, it’s all music that I’ve found is seriously under-rated and performed by musicians that embody all aspects of creativity within their works.
I’m also aware that this may be delaying my posts about the Deutschland Tour and that they will have to be made into three separate blog entries, one for each week, as there was so much that i’ll be cramming into each. I’m hoping that this serves as a nice change to my other entries, and I shall hopefully from now on actually blog about the world in all its beauty, as a companion to my once-weekly travel updates.
