Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, Skype… [Animails #9]

It’s a never-ending list of social networking sites that brings addiction to levels more toxic than chain smoking…
and it’s an exchange students worst habit. Although some of us may be in denial (I my myself only recently confronted my own internet addiction), practically every one of us on exchange is glued to the computer screen reconnecting with friends who are somewhere else around the globe. And we’ll sit there for hours. I’m pretty sure this little ANIMAILS update says it all. :]

A Feast for Fourty? No, six. [Animails #8]

One part of my year on exchange in Germany that I’ll never be able to forget is Christmas Dinner. With lashings of food decorating the dining table, I believed we’d be accompanied by a bunch of guests… I was wrong.

It’s something else that I find quite humorous. :]

This picture is highly inaccurate; double the amount of food on the table for an estimate of the amount food that was splayed out before me on Christmas Eve.

Gluttony… hardly a sin for an exchange student. [Animails #7]

Delicious, Delicious food…

That’s all that exchange students seem to worry about between classes, after school, and in my situation, even throughout my entire gym workout.

I wonder if any other exchange students out there are in the same boat as me. ;]

Oh Christmas Tree, Oh Christmas Tree… [Animails #6]

For people living in countries where having a christmas tree is completely normal, they might not see the novelty in choosing a christmas tree from a number of hundreds…

For me, it was a rather amusing outing… spending 30 minutes trying to find the perfect tree, despite the fact they all look the same to my untrained eyes.

I also found it amusing that the trees came pre-packaged , as if freshly off a factory conveyer belt, and were then repacked for transport home.
Strange as hell…
