Sultana Pancakes

These delicious brekkie treats are seriously yummo and it only involves tweaking a regular pancake ever so slightly.

Here’s what you need:

  • Granny Smith Apples
  • Kiwi Fruit
  • Sultanas
  • Pancake Mix (unless you kick it old school)
  • Natural Yoghurt (optional)

Then you only have to:

  1. Prepare the pancake mix
  2. Slightly grease the pan
  3. Slice apples and kiwi fruit
  4. Pour pancake mix into pan and sprinkle individual pancakes with sultanas
  5. Cook until all finished and serve with sliced fruit (and a dollop of fresh yoghurt)

Did you see how easy that was? Now it’s your turn! Makes for a delicious Easter treat. :]

Now everyone, enjoy your Easter festivities. Behave, eat lots of seafood today, scavenge some chocolate eggs and, most importantly, gobble them all down on Sunday!

Mushroom and Asparagus Fettuccine

This is such a lovely little recipe that I had for dinner tonight… it’s also vegetarian! :]

All you need to whip together something this yummy is;

  • Fettuccine pasta
  • Asparagus
  • Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 Garlic clove
  •  Parmesan Cheese
  • 3 or 4 large white Mushrooms
  • Pepper

And here my dear friends, is what you do!

Cook pasta until ready.
Boil asparagus until soft.
Grill mushrooms for approximately two minutes and add finely chopped garlic pieces, mixing in frypan. Add alfredo sauce and stir thoroughly.
Take sauce off stove and pour into bowl for later use.
Grate enough parmesan as desired.
Serve up cooked pasta and gently pour sauce over noodles,  follow with asparagus, by placing it on top.
Gently sprinkle parmesan over the top and add cracked pepper for garnish.
ENJOY! :D

Delicious end product:

Greek-style fusion salad

This is a little recipe I discovered from my best friends mum… Blending a bit of greek culture with the lazy cooking skill of a young Australian, it makes for a quick and easy dinner. Seriously only takes about 15 minutes!

Ingredients:

  • Rump Steak
  • Mixed salad leaves
  • Feta cheese
  • Red and green chili’s
  • One Lemon

Chop two chili’s, one red, one green, into fine pieces and set to the side for later garnish.
Mix salad leaves with feta in a bowl and place onto a serving plate or bowl.
Grill rump steak and chop into fine strips once freshly cooked.
Place strips into feta salad.
Lightly sprinkle chili pieces over meat and finish by squeezing a lemon over your delicious new creation.

So kiddies, give it a go yourselves! Because it’s rather yummy, even if I do say so myself. :]
Enjoy!
